JOINING THE LIBRARY

Membership

All permanent and contract staff working across South Western Sydney Local Health District and other affiliated groups by arrangement are eligible to join the CLIN Libraries and use their card across the district. Academics affiliated with the medical faculties of UNSW Sydney, Western Sydney University and University of Wollongong may also join the CLIN Libraries.

How can I join the Library?

You can join your local CLIN Library in person, just visit your local CLIN library. Alternatively, you can download and print the form, fill in your details, sign and return it to your local CLIN library. Just select the appropriate registration form from the three forms listed below.

MEDICAL STUDENTS

Medical Students of Western Sydney University and UNSW Sydney placed within SWSLHD Hospitals may join and borrow from any CLIN Library.

University of Wollongong students placed at Bowral Hospital may join and borrow from the Bowral Hospital Library Collection only.

Medical students may use library facilities while they are undertaking a placement in a SWSLHD Hospital.

SWSLHD STAFF 

Permanent and contract staff, and other affiliated groups by arrangement are eligible to join the CLIN Libraries.

Casual Staff from Bankstown and Liverpool may borrow from their home library after paying a $50 refundable deposit.

Casual staff from Bowral, Camden, Campbelltown and Fairfield Hospitals may borrow from their home library only.

NURSING & ALLIED HEALTH STUDENTS

Nursing and Allied Health students from affiliated universities may join and borrow from any CLIN Library while undertaking their placement in a SWSLHD Hospital.

The registration form must be signed by the student supervisor who must be a NSW Health staff member.

Students may use the library facilities during their placement.
